I've got a Hornet built on the same basic frame with cup holder. It was a "signature" bike, it retailed like $450 maybe? Mine has all black crank arms, handlebars, rims, seatpost, etc. and a Shimano 3 speed coaster brake hub. Tires have "Schwinn" script in the tread. It's remarkably light for the frame style - nice bike for a modern commercial cruiser style bike.

I remeber when they came out and I wanted to do something cool with the cup holder, like a deck mount compass or fiber optic light ball or something..

Just tossing this out there for your consideration, but a personal weather station could come in pretty handy too.
