yeah... i got like three of these things. i think made by new departure for hawthorne, they are a disc pack brake vs the newer and more common two shoe design. i hate rebuilding these things with all the little discs inside. tried to do 3 and one didn't make it after surgury. don't know if it will ever be right again as it rides like i got gravel in the hub. maybe someday i will figure it out, but don't have the patience now for it.

yeah i was wondering about al those disk thingys im so glad i didnt go any farther takin it apart ..lol so its a single speed then huh ?man this thing is in awsome shape the nuts r even chrome ,,i seen one on ebay rim and all ..the guy wanted 50 bucks ...id sell mine for that LOL anyway thanks man ! mike
