I have a Hiawatha with the same frame, from what I've found out theres no way to date them. Mine is a late 40's most likely

There's a member here named Phil (site name Rms37? I think) who seems to be very knowledgeable when it comes to the CWC frame especially... maybe he could help you? He seems like a really nice guy... I see him posting helpful info on this forum and theCABE quite often.

EDIT: I just searched through, and I do have is name right... specifically, it is "rms37"

Get on the Cabe, Phil(RMS37) can probably get you close, it's a CWC made frame the same as a Roadmaster frame of the era, he is collecting a database of S/Ns for CWCs. I have a vintage Roadmaster frame the same and a repop Roadmaster the same as that one. Definitely late 40s, early 50s style.

I believe that the year is looking at you there on the bottom bracket, but maybe I could be wrong also?

yep, nice frame, but Black Wicked will eat you alive. ya know since it's a distance cusin. mine a 55 and i think yous is a 53. i like it.

According to catalog pages, they started using that style badge in 1950, and used it at least thru 1957. ~Adam

that is definitely a 53, i only know 'cause i have one i ride everyday.
