Hey all,
I've been reading the board for a couple days now and have enjoyed all the great posts and pics.
I've had this 52 Hawthorne Deluxe about three years now and only last night put on the '42 Firestone Pilot fenders, chainguard and 48-ish JCH carrier. I also sanded a little last night to see the original paint under the sprayed on dark blue. I have the tank, but lost track of the screws while I was hammering out a few dings.
Yeah, that there is original upholstery on the saddle.
