Headlights, where art thou?

I had a search of the forum but couldn't find anything so posting here, I hope this is the correct spot!

I'm having a hell of a time trying to find a motorcycle/Bullet style lights for the front of the cruiser project I'm doing. All that seems to be coming up are these 3 inch jobs that are way to small for the look I want.

LBS wont be an option so I'm stuck with the hamsters on t'interweb. Does anyone know of any lights that are bigger or recommendations please? Below would be awesome (6" height) but are motorcycle. Brackets would be easy to fabricate, electrical im not so sure of.

Or simple round ones even.

There's tons of motorbike headlights that would be awesome, is a conversion possible? I'm guessing all the internals need to be replaced.

I've searched high and low. Same lights always popping up in their thousands. Thanks for any help in advance.

If they aren't LED, then any 12v source should do.

Thanks. Yeah I do wanna modify them. Was thinking LED but I guess that’s where it gets complicated.

Do a search for LED conversion in the how to section and you'll find some threads. I remember LukeTheJoker had a pretty good one, and I think Duchess ...maybe?

It is possible to convert them from 12v to 6v, yes. Both options are available, LED and bulb. The difference is that with a powerful led you would need to use a special chip called LM2596S to provide a good current to your LED module. But they are cheap and very easy to work with. And using bulb you just pack 4 AA batteries inside parallel (1.5v x 4 = 6v), a switch and a bulb and secure everything in a light body with some hot glue.
That's how i converted an old motorcycle lamp for my Ghostrider.
