I've been a bike mechanic for 20 years now, mostly in the metro Detroit area. I work at a LBS and have been doing custom bikes for as long as I can remember. My main ride is a Trek Superfly and I just recently finished customizing my 2011 Electra Ghostrider bobber with a 3-speed jockey shift. I've been wanting to join this forum for awhile now, but I wanted to wait until I had finished my project to share the finished product. I finished it a week ago, debuted it at the Woodward Dream Cruise...and that same night, the bicycle was stolen. I'm hoping to start a similar project soon though and am looking forward to seeing everyone else's customs!
