Hi, I'm in Boise and today I learned a hard, hard lesson. My very old ward hawthorne's chain was rusty, gummy, stiff and old so I pulled it off and chucked in the trash. (Many of you know what's about to happen)
After having no luck getting a new chain that fit, I finally learned that it's a skip tooth chain, the worst part is with a little work and patience I probably could have cleaned it up.
I rescued the chain but sadly it has a twist now and I can't find the master link.
Anyone, nice to stop lurking and share my moment of ignorance!![Oops! ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
