so a few weeks ago I was in Flagstaff Az, while i was there i saw a guy riding around on a bike. I couldn't see what type of frame it was...all i saw were the ape hanger handle bars. I was hooked... when i got home i started searching the web, came up with a few images and eventually found this site.
I found a 29er beach cruiser from walmart (link below) ordered it this past monday, got it tuesday. Ordered my ape hangers from chubbys (link below) on tuesday, got them saturday an installed today.
Im really into this bike...it fits me well.
Things I don't like about the bike a) the cranks seem small b) i don't like the brakes or the wheels, they are v style? and make a lot of noise even after i adjusted them several times c) now that i have ape hangers i'd like to install a stick shifter if i can find something like that. i was surprised that the walmart website lists the bike as a 38 lbs considering it's aluminum.
Oh the best part of buying my bike from walmart they credited me 85.00 on wed !
