Wow it's been Here is the pump I bought.

I'm putting these forks to a different bike and I kinda wanted to add more air for my weight. So I bought a shock pump from Amazon and I can't figure out how to add air to 'em.
It has the schrader valve deeply recessed - I think it's called a reverse schrader valve.
Can you tell me what adapter I need?

First of all which model bomber fork is that? Is it an older Atom?

They made bomber forks in both coil and air. My first guess is if there is not a valve underneath the top left fork cap then you probably just have a coil version. Your only options there are different weight oil, different weight springs or put some stack adjustment in there and compress the springs with some kind of a spacer

If the valve is recessed, use this or something similar (sources are eBay, Harbor Freight, etc)...

Looking online for an adapter, then I see this pic.

Idea, gut a tube or valve insert and maybe build an adapter out of that.

You probably need pump adapters. They used to make them for Marzocchi, but I don't know who exactly. I'm sure they are probably on eBay if nothing else

Here is one on ebay, end looks like it may fit but no info. Besides I just bought a similar pump, but it just has std schrader end.

I think on your bomber fork those inside holes are not threaded correct? Do you just need a push in style with an o-ring presumably?

@kissmyklunker , I wish I my forks had the big bore and std threaded Schrader valve like your forks...
@Captain Awesome , Right again - no threads. Was reading online there are different diameters tho and no sellers show the actual diameters so a guessing game for me.
Drop me your address and I'll send the one I found after a bit of digging the past couple of days.
Thank you!

I tried the brass insert from an old tube. With the rubber removed it's a bit too small in diameter. Possible to try another and leave the rubber coating on and sand it a bit to fit but still will need a way to push in the schrader valve.

Here's hoping Karate Chicken Industries has the correct adapter!

Always a new wrinkle to figure out in the bike build biz.

The adapter arrived today! Many thanks to Karate Chicken Industries!

Fit right in and put approx 100 psi in both sides.

Anyone have experiences with a pump like this?
20220822_161311.jpg

I got it from Amazon with no instructions. Seems to be unable to top 100 psi no matter how much I pump. Later I discovered a packing around the pump shaft was loose, I have an arrow pointing at it in the pic. Maybe have to tighten it and try again? I believe I should pump forks to about 150 psi. BTW the adapter is circled.

Don't have the fork on a bike yet.
