HELP PLEASE...schwinn serial number I.D.

can anyone tell me the year of this bike.

It's a Schwinn "New World"
serial number H359087

then it has a number 52 with "Diamonds" on each side of the 52

Hey Kev do you have a pic of this bike? They do have the Scwhinn serial number charts on the Cabe. It covers everything post '48 do to the fire. I have a mid to late 40s Schwinn Ace that Oldroads.com helped me to kinda pin a year on. If it is pre '48 than you kinda just gotta go by either pics of existing bikes or go by the features they have on the Cabe too. Hope this helps you out. Troy

thanks Troy..that put the bike I'm lookin at to be about a 1951 Schwinn "New World"

it's not all stock but I think $150.00 pretty good for it.

that is a cool bike and judging by the look of the bike and the parts i would say 1951 is correct as far as when the frame was made. i personally think 150 is a bit steep for a thin tire bike in that condition but to each his own. good luck there buddy get it and rat it my friend!!
