HELP THIS DUMMY PLEASE!

My first ever Schwinn....just got it, posted up yesterday in fresh finds.
Tire issue, I know Schwinns take special tires....this one has the original 26 x 1 3/8 Schwinn brand tire on the front for S-5/ S-6 rim. Fits great, but major dry rotting. The rear is a 26 x 1 3/8 (37-590) that sits way too deep in the rim, and if you look close in the pics, doesn't fill the rear fender like the front tire, and everything is mounted where it belongs. So educate this dummy please....

What and where do I find the correct tires and thak you for your help!

Memory Lane Classics should have the tires for you 419-832-3040. As for the gap,I wouldnt worry about it.Fred

actually that rear looks not original at least looking at a side view of the tread. maybe someone stretched a standard tire on there. any good shop that deals with vintage stuff can get the tires your looking for. make sure you tell them it is for a schwinn
