HELP WITH IDENTIFICATION?

wondering what make/model my bike is.
theres a lot of paint over the serial #, so i thought it throw it on here and see if anyone had any ideas.
it had a shiny red paint job on it when i got it, similar to mountain bike style paint, so i dont think its too old or anything.
its a pretty generic looking frame, so i might just have to sand it down and pull the numbers up.

Pacific, probably a "Huffy". I suppose it could have been a "Schwinn", but they have an additional crosspiece for rack mounting on the upper stays. There are other minor differences, but I can't tell from the picture.
