Here's my 1970 Schwinn Deluxe Racer

Picked it up at a garage sale a couple of months back, so not all that fresh, but not cleaned up yet other than rinsing the dust off for these pictures.

Is this seat off an exercise bike? It is comfortable.

Bendix 2 speed kickback, works perfectly.

Possibly the original tires.

nice bike! the seat is off an exercise bike if it doesnt have springs they made the same saddle with springs that was an option seat too

Nice find and that looks like a 1965 from the A in the serial number. Matt

I looked it up by the frame serial number. Best I could tell, it falls into 1970. Could be wrong.

Yeah, that top hat logo on the seat tube is indicative of an earlier 60s model lightweight.
