Carl here, just picked up TODAY what I think is an an old Hawthorne... Came here checking pics to confirm and I dig this site. I also have an early 60's Schwinn tandem. Neither is all original and neither will be ever again. hehe. Love the ratrod style, I rebuild guitars too and have done a couple steampunked so the Hawthorne may end up Jules Verned... looking forward to this. Peace.
