Here is my intro.. My name is Ron. I live in Washington state. I love buying stuff and fixing and selling it. I like old stuff. I work a lot too! Right now I have 2 bikes one is a 1966 RBC and the other bike is a ?? I am having trouble figuring it out. It has a firestone badge and a monark sticker and has deluxe cruiser stickers too! It has the front light and bell in the tank not attached. Can anyone help with year and what is the red crown in the chain guard?

It came with only half the light.

Looks like a 50's Firestone, Firestones were made by someone else and just rebadged, in this case Monark made it for Firestone. They usually had a serial plate riveted on the bottom of the crank housing with the serial #'s. the tank would of had the crown emblems like the chainguard does. Gotta pic of the whole bike ? The fender lights can usually be used to get a better idea of the year, serial # is best though.

Thanks for the info. I am trying to decide if I should repair and restore the bike or if I should just sell the parts. The pieces are all in good shape but the bike was painted to make it look newer than what it is. The paint job is not bad but they painted all the chrome too rims etc. the only piece that I can see that needs to be replaced in the piece directly above the forks. I don't know if it attached to the forks or the forks slide into it. Here is a pic
