How goes it everybody? My name's Tim - I'm from Pearland, TX (South of Houston, TX) and I just wanted to stop in and say hey. I've always had a love for bikes and have recently gotten more into the maintenance/rebuilding of bikes. I'm about a third the way through with redoing an old 50's Western Flyer Tandem bike that I'm hoping to finish in the next few months. I've always wanted to learn to weld, and a few months ago started seeing something called 'tall bikes' all over the web. I knew instantly what I wanted to do for my next project!
So, I'm hoping to get myself hooked up with a cheap welding rig soon and start practicing so I can learn how to build one of these truly unique machines and have a ton of fun doing it - if anyone has any advice, feel free to let me know!
