We build freakbikes, mostly tallbikes, choppers, and swingbikes, but we have a soft spot for vintage cruisers and high-risers (Stingrays). This may be sacriledge to some but, I like to modify (cut-up) Schwinns because they have thicker tubing. I assure you that I have saved more than I have destroyed. I like coasterbrakes a lot. My latest is a burrito bike, no pix yet. Here are some bikes I've built:
Repack
1952 Schwinn, primer brown w/green flames, 30's Bendix coasterbrake, Mongoose Gold Stem and Suzuki RM250 handlebars
MiLoLo
1971 Schwinn Stingray, frame raked&stretched 8", tanked, longer dropouts, purple primer. Bendix Red band coasterbrake
Reverse Cowgirl
60's Huffy boy's frame/64 Schwinn American girl's frame,steering wheel!
And a construction teaser of the Burrito Bike
It's done now, except for the seat, pix soon!
I've built more, but these are relevant.
