Can anybody I.D. the following Hiawatha serial number?
mainly just wanting to know what year.

I've been trying to find out an exact year on mine as well, but I don't think they kept records for them.

No #'s, but it's Murray built, and that style frame debuted in '58. Also, if it has a bendix red band coaster brake, that would make it a '63 or later. I'd guess mid 60s in that color. ~Adam

That looks like a Huffy number. 52 or 62, need to see the bike to get the right decade.

I can add to this old thread, that I recently found out that Murray-built Hiawathas had their own in house serial numbering system, much like Firestone badged bikes. Only the NBHAA has that information, so one would probably need to pay a few bucks for an evaluation. The most recent one posted could indeed be a Huffy, but pics will confirm. -Adam
