Some of you may remember the '58 Higgins Flightliner that I picked up this summer, and had planned to put together for the buildoff.
One thing led to another, and it didn't happen. A few weeks ago, I finally started to really work on it (it had been torn down for months). I painted the frame in Duplicolor Metal Specks.
I had originally planned to use a Colorliner fork I acquired over the summer, but when I began to assemble the bike, I discovered it was bent. This caused me to rethink the direction I wanted to go with the build. Anyway, instead of a lead sled look, it got sporty.
It's not 100% done; that seat's probably going to get replaced, and after a short test ride, I've decided it really wants a smaller front sprocket (I don't know what it's like where you are, but we's got hills around here, boy). It's going to get a little more rake on the front end, also.
