My brother and I welded up this big ugly bike about 2 years ago and I nearly broke my leg riding a wheelie on it. Someone made an offer for it I couldn't refuse, so was sold over a year and a half ago. Then this showed up on CL:

It looked like my bike, but I wasn't sure. A couple weeks later, I ran into the guy who bought it from me, he said he sold it awhile back to make room. So I went back and it was still for sale. He said it needed a rear wheel. So I got it back for 50 bucks. It has been ridden quite a bit. It was ridden by everyone in the neighborhoods where it was. The handlebars were bent, and there were some deep scratches, so one or more wiped out on it. The brake arm bracket gave out and it spun while the sprocket somehow lost it's snapring. The guts are very loose, meaning it was ridden until it couldn't go any farther. The crank bearings need adjusted also.

I'm looking forward to getting it back on the road again. I just finished the build off and was looking for my next project, and it just showed up out of the blue.

Question...Do you have to take the Axel out to take the back rim off the frame... I dont see any cut out in that drop out..?

the same thing happened to my bike custom unit chopper . sold it for 80 dollars this summer shows up on craigslist for 300 nothing's changed except this painted in black . Go figure.

The wheel comes out with a lot of effort spreading the dropouts. I just finished cutting a slot with my dremel in that dropout. It'll go in easy now. I just put another snapring on the sprocket and added a little grease, the hub is fine after all that abuse. I'm going to work on the frame to refine it some along with the forks. I'm debating whether to put on the 2 1/2 foot apes.

I thought something thing looked a little funny..

I really like the rustoleum spray enamel, it covers small defects because it's thick and is pretty foolproof, it just takes longer to dry. I did very little prep on this frame, but it looks like I sanded and primed it.
