Yesterday I was able to acquire this Schwinn Breeze for my wife. I will have to go through it before its rideable but its almost a perfect match to a Schwinn racer I got a month ago. Actually they both need to be disassembled, cleaned, lubed and put back together. As soon as my build off bike is done, these are next in line. Definitely the closest thing I have ever had to matching his and hers bikes. Going to be fun :D

Nice bike, I have the same but I don't have the parts other than the fork, chainguard and the fenders with the reflector but needs the rest.

Tonight I was thinking about this idea. What if I were to take the wheels, fenders and all of the 3 speed stuff off of this old Rollfast and put it on my Racer. I know they're not Schwinn parts but it would become a closer match. I don't see myself spending the time, effort, and money to restore it to a ladies 3 speed and I'm not sure what to do with it otherwise.

Racers are great riding bikes, but for a low buck upgrade why not. :D At least you can get tires cheap then..

I took the Racer for a ride today, I hate to think that its been this way all these years and I come along and change it to match something else. Im gonna leave it alone. Heck there's about 20 bikes in my garage to ride, why mess up an original Schwinn. Her Breeze needs a lot of work to be rideable, I promised myself I wont start on it until my build off bike is done. Guess I need to get off my Brooks and get busy.
