Yesterday I was on my daily ride to the park with my daughter she was on her LIL CHIC and I was on my Phantom we decided (she twisted my arm ) for Foster Freeze ice cream, so we stopped and got our cones, and at the table next to us was this guy who just rode up on an electric Schwinn ( Pacific cycle woo hoo) so I was looking at it and just making conversation about how he liked it ,blah blah blah, and my daughter starts rambling about all the bikes I have....so he pops off with "if your dad sold all his bikes he could get one of these" so I replied.....I actually like peddling, and riding stuff made in America....besides I will probably be pulling yours out of a landfill in five years.....and throwing it back in...."Choke on that curly fry :roll:

I personally hate bicycle snobbery. I ride everything from Stingrays to a Hi Racer recumbent. I find Lycra clad roadies amusing but I don't thumb my nose at them if they don't treat me that way. I'm just happy if anyone is riding any kind of bike at all, at least they're not in a car!
