Homemade Wheel Dishing Tool

Has anyone here made their own dishing tool? I want to make one, and am curious what others have done.

2 6' levels and 2 bar clamps and the bike it's going on, with a centered front wheel installed and aligned with the frame. Or careful measurement and a trueing stand.
