Anyone here ever build a CB550 or 750 Bobber? I'm working in one now, and am having a heck of a time with the exhaust - it's dragging down the whole project. The issue is the frame is an old Harley frame, so motor sits low, the pipes are low to ground, and one pipe hits my kick stand mount. Thanks in advance for any advice.
My questions are:
1.) How short is too short for performance/engine wear if I slash cut my pipes real short?
2.) Is there any type of flexible exhaust tubing you can buy that work well?
3.) Got any reference pics/sites/?? of bikes who have made custom exhaust pipes?
