The bike has some great looks but I think that the middle (seat post area) is a little too busy and takes away from the overall looks of the bike. The seat slammed down on the rear tire needs to lose it's lowrider look. I think that if you could lose that curved part coming off of the old seat post and figure out a way to drop the rear seatpost down along with the top of the triangle, the bike would just ooze of coolness! This is just my opinion and if you're happy with the looks and rideability than that's what really matters. For the most part I love the design and the color just flat out ROCKS. Got any ride pictures?
Thanks,

i would agree. i think i'd take the point where the front twin top tubes meet the rear top tube and cut the rear top tube off there. then put like a fender brace/caliper brake type cross piece just over the rear wheel, make a line that intersects the rear seat tube, cut everything above it off and just have a strait piece of tubing there. maybe just have a little piece sticking up for the front seat mount if the angle doesn't quite work out. i'd keep the seat though. a backrest works good on a stretch.

not a slam though. i think i write longer comments on a bike i like because... well, i like it and it sets my imagination off too. a stingray type stretch is in my future also, i haven't found my frame yet.

Yeah Custom Joe, I didn't mean this as a slam either. I very rarely go deep into comments on bikes unless I really like the concept but think that there could be a true improvement. Your bike has a very cool and original look but the center area really draws to much unwanted attention. Philipine definitely has the idea of what I was talking about. If I was you, I'd ride the crap out of it and when it's time for some new paint/repairs, hit it with the make over! Just to let you know how much I do like the bike, I've probably looked at the picture 10 to 12 different times!
Thanks,

I like what you did there Joe! Looks like an old Murray or Huffy muscle bike met a tall framed road bike! I do agree with Chainy though, that it would look a little smoother if that one tube was straight. But if I built it, I probably wouldn't change it now after it's painted! -adam
