Has anyone tried de-brazing all the junk off a frame instead of the ol' hack and grind method? I'm kinda afraid I'd rip a bunch of holes in it.... :roll:

I've removed a few cable hangers with a propane torch, just heat it up then twist it off with a pair of pliers.

HEY! that works sweet!! I just got the offending appendages cherry red and smacked em off with my Cresent hammer!! way safer than the lazer and I could have foregone Bondo if my grinding skills weren't so pathetic.. :roll:

this is a great tip. i was wondering the same thing.
i need to take a bunch of cable keepers off a schwinn.
