I think it makes difference where you place your seat guts too. Some people flip the seat clamp all the way forward and the guts forward which puts the seat further back on the post. This creates more of a fulcrum on the seat post which can actually add more leverage to the post than it can handle. Therefore two guys who weigh the same could have a different experience on the same seat post. Hope this makes sense. I have tried it and it helps if you flip your seat clamp toward the rear of the seat. It kind of centered it in the saddle.
