My story is simple, made a trade through craigslist , and the dude (Schwinnspastic) asked me if i ever heard of the site RatRodBikes., went home checked it out and been hooked ever since !

I was at the cabe and posted a pic in customs. Somebody asked me if I had posted it here yet. I had looked around here before, but just now decided to register.

I was looking for inspiration on a bike build and I love rat rods so I searched and this site popped up first thing. Been hooked ever since.

I was looking for a bike to fix up for my wife & ended up buying one from Cameron @ udallcustombikes through craigslist. When I went to pick it up I was impressed by his collection of bicycles. He asked me if I had ever checked out the RatRodBikes website. So, when I got home I did. Now I'm hooked & working on a rat project for myself.

Went looking for a bike to get some exercise on. Googled a bunch of bike things and ended up here. Got bit by the bike bug and never left. :D

saw a pic of kevin(clothspin`n) "pin it" bike on BR&K! it was right after the first buildoff, and he had a link to this site. spent about 9 months as a lurker, before i joined, and another 6 months before i posted my first bike. sure seems like a long time ago!

I had seen Steves posts on the Schwinn Forums before he launched this site. He seemed to be a genuinely nice dude with a love for Schwinns, so when he launched this site I became a member(pretty early on).The nicer tone of the members on this site has kept it one of my faves! We have Steve to thank for this, he don't play when it comes to flamers! Later & PEACE!!!! 8)

I went on a vintage bike cruise and member KOTA asked if I was a member :D I checked it out and have been hooked ever since  Thanks KOTA :D

kinda wandered in. i was on the chopper bike and schwinn forums (rebirth of cool) first. the chopper bike forum closed and i found freakbike. i think maybe someone mentioned rrb there.

I found RRB last year when I was looking for info on parts & about customizing bikes like my Murray Monterey which of all sites that had anyone talking about Murray bikes, this was the only one that had respect for all bikes and never said Murray's were crap and didn't treat them like crap either.

Tin machine and I made contact through some CL deals and he told me I should come and check out RatRodBikes. He told there was some great fellowship here. Even said the owner will have prayer for ya. I`ve had some things go on at another forum that has put a bad taste in my mouth so to speak. It made things harder for me to keep my faith up. Everywhere I turned there was something negative. Its time for some positive and right now I feel positive about being here. Thanks Anthony (Tin machine) for directing me here.
