I've decided to repaint my ride but it looks like a previous owner went wild with a spray can and covered everything primer red including the rims handle bars... you name it, its red.

What is the best way to prep it for repainting?

Should I remove the wheels and handle bars before painting? Or is covering them well good enough?

What is the best paint product to use? Spray can or paint brush?

When I finish I look forward to posting my ride for you all to see.

Better prep work leads to better results. Breaking it all down to the frame will ensure that paint only goes where it's supposed to be, and nowhere it's not (with proper masking). Spray paint goes on smoother than brush paint. Use multiple light coats and then follow up with multiple coats of clear by the same manufacturer as your color coat.
