how do I remove this dang thing

Its a 3 speed hub that didnr work so I wanna use the wheels for a project but cant get the dang guts out its makin me

Looks like part #21 is threaded into the hub shell. If your not saving it, put a pipe wrench on it.

I cant grab onto it with a pip wrench

Take the wheel to your LBS. Mine has the special tool that slips in there to remove it. He doesn't charge me usually.

A little digital photo tip...when you go to shoot close up shots like that, make sure your camera is in macro mode.

Typically they use a little rose/flower icon for the setting.

This enables the camera to focus in well on close up objects. :wink:

I'm glad you noticed that too..I just thought it was my eyes going bad!

ok ok the pics are blurry I was in a hurry and need help but no help so far and still cant get it off heck my lens might be dirty never even looked just grabbed wheel and snapped pics and loaded them but oh well I have time
