Maybe not the perfect VW Beetle, but good if you are always coming and going...

$195,000 for a bug? Its nice but wow... My dream bug would just be a nicely restored split window body with the engine, trans, and suspension of a modern Porsche 911 turbo grafted together. Innocent look, sinister performance.

But its a HEB!!!

lol.

Coach built 2 seater vert. Not many made or left. But a late split with crotch coolers and 3 fold sliding rag sunroof dropped on 17'' Raders would be my choice but I didnt see a good one listed similar to that. And a Judson super charger would be my engine addition or maybe a Okrassa setup. If only I had the $$$$$$$$$$

I used to have the opposite idea for one. I wanted to graft two back ends together, so that it would look a bit like a UFO. The profile would just be a dome.

Sweet. Not many of those rims in the US. I'd kill to have some Der Steiner Rads, but I'll settle for the chromed Raders I have for now.

I gotta get to building mine.
