I used the Original Seat Post turned upside down along with a lay back seat post that I had hanging around that was never used on another project.
The chrome seat post fits inside the stock seat post with about 1/16 clearance.
I drilled 4 holes in the stocker and welded them together with my Oxy/Acy rig. Careful, they are both pretty thin wall.
Here they are with the welds cleaned up, ready for paint.
Rides pretty nice now.
