Lately I have been finding girls bikes that I can't pass up.
I now have five in my vintage collection. Of course there are more junk bikes that I don't count.

Monark Super deluxe, this was the first girls bike that I restored for my wife from several years ago.

I have 4 tank girls cruisers (2 been redone completely 2 waiting) then probably another 6 complete girls cruisers thats just hanging around waiting for me to either use for parts or rebuild for someone. Then a small stack of frames Im not sure why I havent throw into the scrap pile yet.

My wife has 2. One new 90's Schwinn Cruiser and a '54 Starlet I redid for her. I have one. An Elgin a friend left here...I guess it's still his though. That was 15 yrs. ago! Just sold a girls Panther to CCR. My goal is zero girls bikes. Gary

Parts not being counted, nor kids bikes, I have the '37 Schwinn 26", a white 7 speed cruiser my wife rides, and a brand new Schwinn single speed frame to build for my wife.

Wife's Roadmaster, she hardly ever rides it! I love to ride it. Rides like a dream!

24" Hiawatha built for my 72 year old cousin, she rides it every day weather permitting.

I also have a future project for my daughter, 24" ladies Jet Pilot & a 20" little girls skip tooth bike but can't remember what it is. It's a build for my grand daughter, she's only 3 so I have a while to work on it. I don't have pics of either of them. So, I guess my total would be 4 so far.

I wasn't into girls bikes at first. Then there was a needed match to my boys bike. I was embarrassed to have my better half ride her $99 Walmart pos when we went on our rides at the boardwalk.
So I found her an Astro Flite match.
Then the madness was underway.
Here are a few she call hers.
Still have most of them.

Another hopelessly addicted bike couple. You're even spreading the addiction to your niece. I can tell you've found a home here with the rest of us junkies.:41: I like the pink Schwinn but the maroon Panther is even cooler. Gary

When I bought this bike, I had my wife in mind. I got it without her knowledge and am planning to restore it before giving it to her.

This morning I had this picture up on my computer and she saw it. I wasn't thinking anything about her seeing it because it's not uncommon for there to be a picture of a bike on the screen.

Then the unexpected happened. Out of nowhere, she said 'I really like that bike'! After a brief discussion about what she liked about it, she asked why I had a grin on my face and I told her that it was hers.

Being that she is more into skates than bikes, it was nice to hear such a positive unsolicited reaction to the bike that I got for her! So, when I get it ready to ride by this spring when the weather is nice, I'll know that at the very least, she will like the looks of it! That's a victory.

I found a '72 Schwinn Fair Lady for my daughter I'm going to restore. And I got a '64 Flightliner for my wife I'm going to clean up and convert to a 3-speed for my wife by the Spring. No pictures right now. 2 girls, 2 girl bikes.
