How to tell if a speedo is for a 26 in. ?

How can one tell what size of wheel a speedometer is made for ?
I found one here from a member but he doesn't know what it fits.

several have numbers . 26 thru 28. 24is different. None are accurate enough for it to matter,really. Make sure the iD of the square drive matches your cable and speedo. Some are 1/8ish, some are like 1/16".

most just depend on the cable hooked to them, most can be guessed by how long the speedo cable is but they are usually stamped on the outside of the wheel piece.
