got it for parts for under $5.. but after getting it and riding it.. it is a real nice riding/shifting bike... except it feels like the front tire is under you when you stand up on it..
wife has a few friends lookin' for bikes, so I'll run it past them then parts bike

there is still the protective plastic from the factory on the fenders hanging off in places

Wow that's a really good one. I rebuilt one of those for our Bike Share program- it's bike #1!

Really a comfortable bike. Still Made in USA too, or at least ours was. Mid 80's.

Enjoy! Yours is really in great shape. And a better color, ours was kind of a pale metallic pink.

digging the new color scheme on it.. I see that one is at least a 10 speed as well..

i tend to steer clear of derailleurs as I usually end up with a bent bike, and a bald spot from the stress :lol:


and I really dig the donating thing you guys do as well, do this myself around here..

going to the scrapyard tomorrow for a fresh haul of donors as a matter a fact...

may even post a pic or two if I find something cool again

I bought the same Huffy about a year ago for my girlfriend and we have had no problems with it!
