Hey guys! I was just looking at the serial numbers for my two Silver Jets for a Huffman serial number project for the CABE and noticed that my '63 and '66 models both have a sommon sequence in the numbers. Just wondering if anybody else has any of these bikes and can post their seiral numbers. I've got an idea in that crack pot head of mine.

I just wanna see if its either a coincidence or I'm really about to break a case wide open here.

Do you mean the Monark Silver King camel hump middleweight or the early aluminum ones? I have the middleweight one that I have always thought was about a 1957 model.

The Monark Silver King I'm referring to is a bit more scarce that your typical Silver King, it is essentially a rebadged Huffy. Instead of a red tank, rack, seat, and grips like the Huffy, the Monark has blue.

The H in the second slot of the serial signifies Huffy and the first number '4' denotes the last digit of the year. So you just have to determine the decade, 60s or 70s.

I know that! I have for a long time, but I have found a common sequence the numbers, and I'm thinking it may be a model number. Especially considering these frames were different than any others built by Huffy...the fact they all were chromed!
