I always enjoy your slide shows. You've got an eye for a great picture. Looks like everyone was having a great time.

Yeah the shirt thing was kind of weird, we aren't really a "club," just a bunch of friends that like to ride old bikes at the beach... Supposedly the parade is listed as the oldest, biggest 4th parade west of the Mississippi. Don't know for sure but it was packed and went for miles...anyway, they have had bike groups in it before (a long time ago) and the problem is they pick up more riders as they go along the route and really turn it into a massive problem so they stopped. We sucked up to the organizers for a long time before they decided to give us a shot.
There were 1000s of people along the route on bikes. So by the rules, we had to ride in some kind of formation (we didn't), wear matching shirts and obey a lot of other conditions. They put us toward the end in case of problems and we had to police ourselves and boot anybody that tried to poach their way into the group...and there were a lot of people that tried to join in. Despite the conditions, it was an experience for sure...

Everybody loves a parade. Especially when your in a parade on COOL BIKES. Your group has some COOL BIKES. Great slide show, THANKS.

And the "not really a club" thing, thats how we are with the Coasters Bicycle Club here in Wichita, just good people out to have fun on cool bikes (we are blessed to have a webmaster, aka_locojoe, to keep a record of our rides and happenings).

The Coasters have ridden in several local parades, its a blast, and people seem to really enjoy seeing the old and custom bikes. After our first parade experience, of riding very slow and having near miss collisions, we came up with an idea, that is; ride at a reasonable pace and if you dont want to stop, always turn left and go to the back of the pack, a constant moving circle of bikes. This allows the riders to keep riding and the parade viewers get a second look at your cool bikes.

Everybody should ride in a parade. :D :D :D

So is the girl in the red skirt your girlfriend or wife?

My wife noticed that there seem to be a lot of her...ha ha.

It looks like yall got several different styles of shirts made up....was that all done in one order?

To answer your questions...no, I should be so lucky, she's is taken and very photogenic.
Some of the shirts were done in one order with a few color choices, others were from previous orders.

If you're talking about the girl in the red poke-a-dotted dress...that is actually my buddy Jason's (Easy ROC) girlfriend...He build that sick black and red bike...
