Just bought a 1943 Schwinn New World frame, fork, and wheel set. Really weird double bend in the front forks. Unfortunately no paint, but whatever. New departure brake, crank dates to 1943.
Will post the fork picture as I remember seeing one on I think a 1939.
I just finished, almost, a rebuild of a 1985 Trek 400, Campy brakes, VO wheel set, early 6 speed Dura Ace derailleur. A nice looker.
So this is next. Saw a nice Soma Moustach bar, I have my eyes on a Dura Ace front hub, sorta make it nice simple new/old parts. A getaway bike.
