Hey Hooch...do you remember a guy in Iowa that had a bike shop in the late 80's or early 90's? He sold repop dropstands for prewar bikes and he also sold repop Schwinn straight bar tanks made out of some kind of black resin or fiberglas. He also owned a bike that is pictured in the Evolution of the Bicycle called "The Bat Bike" that sort of looked like the Batmobile. Ivan Gunthmiller (spelling?) from N.Dakota built it originally. I can't remember his name or city but I'd like to try and find out who he is and if he's still in business. I'm wondering if maybe he still has a line on the dropstands and Schwinn SB tanks.
