I took the daunting step of rebuilding a hub (daunting to me since I've never done it before but have wanted to give it a try). It was a bendix from 1950 on my Goodrich Streamliner and I knew I wouldn't enjoy the bike as much with the rear wheel pretty stiff. Used the very helpful thread on here to help and it took some time (it was pretty bad) but she's spinning like new. Pretty stoked I actually gave it a try and it worked out (That doesn't always happen to me...).

Let's not get crazy there..... I've actually never owned a bike with a 2 speed, but I must say the single speed Bendix is surprisingly simply inside. The first hub I ever took apart was a new Departure and that one seems a bit more of a beast with all the discs and everything in there...
