I've seen lace used as a mask for spray paint, really cool effect when the fabric is removed

WOO HOO! We on it now! Less than three weeks until show time. No big right? Wait, I don't have the frame, fenders or rims. The pinstripe artist has them. Hopefully he's all rested up from his week in Maui. I should have them by the end of this week. Actually I love this part.❤ The heat is on!

I think this is it for the tank. I may have any screw ups covered with pinstripes. After all the different designs I settle on this one. Actually this is the one I screwed up the least.

I've got the color pretty close to the powder color.

I still have to sand out a couple of runs then buff.

Tore Down is shoooow ready. I'll need to wipe it down. I'll do that Thursday morning while setting up the display. The stands give it a little height. It's loooow. I had to remove the kickstand, it was dragging.

Alright! Tore Down is entered in the 2022 Sacramento Autorama. None of my competitors (custom bike) have shown up yet. So I don't know what the competition looks like. I actually don't care if I win. I want room awards!

Some nice vintage this year. This beautiful Elgin sits not far from Marjie's Elgin Rat.

This Plymouth was SICK! I want it!

This 1940 Chevy Suburban is off the hook! It's by Roseville Rod & Custom. There are so many handmade parts on this truck it boggles the mind. My buddy Curtis knows the shop so we got to get a up close tour. First off the rear of the roof was lowered. All doors and windows had to be reshaped.

The linkage is controlled by a cam in the middle. Everything but the carbs is handmade.

Door handles shorten 30% and reshaped.

Seat frame and control box under dash handmade.

Bumper pan is boltless even underneath. If you look at this truck you think " Oh nice truck". Most won't have any idea of the thousands of hours spent on this vehicle. Stupendous a top notch job by probably the best shop in these here parts❤
