Hey everybody! I found this site through the cabe and this seems much more my speed! I have a ridiculous custom lowrider and don't tend to leave anything stock, so this is my world! I'm working on a '72 Schwinn Fastback right now and have a '50 Schwinn and '49 Huffman to follow, with complete restorations. I'll have to post some pics of my super-custom lowrider, because it's due for a finish/makeover build/rebuild anyway. I'm sure I'll have more questions in the future... Rock on!
Oh yeah, I have this little champ I picked up from garage sale recently, not even sure of it's brand. But with some fresh tires and chain lube it rolls out with a Sturmey Archer 3speed like a real champ. It's pre- 1971 is all I know (that's when LA bike reg expired) Any ideas? I don't think it's all original as is so it will probably get more modified.
