Hey Jen! It's hard to say for SURE...but it's likely one of the China made knock-offs, like this:

I suppose it could be a 'Walmart' made in China 'Schwinn'...but probably not. I hope they didn't pay too much for it! :| Although it's a cool looking bike...I.D.'ing what EXACTLY it is might be tricky...

Probably a parts is parts bike. The sprocket looks Schwinn, neck and pedals are newer. "Fast One " tires I think came on Huffy's .

It looks like something is printed on the top of the seat. Could we get a better pic?

Cool bike. Kinda of plain but tough at the same time.

actually the sprocket looks like a schwinn knockoff, like you can get off a lowrider site. the "fast one" tire was on huffy muscle bikes i believe like cman said.

The whole bike looks like a lowrider site chinese Schwinn knockoff to me. Not too shabby, it might have been Schwinn labeled.

It is an AMX Swift Hornet which was sold in toys-r-us in 2000-2001. Most were gold. Some were blue and maybe a couple other colors. They came with knock off krate fenders. They did not come with slicks. The rear tire has been replaced. I worked at toys-r-us as a "bikebuilder" when they were being sold. It was fun to ride my real 5 speed krate to work and park next to them.

I stole this picture off ebay. The person wants over $200 for it. They sold for between $90-$119 new.
