I’m about to embark on jazzing up this 1970(?) AMF (I assume) Texas Ranger…I may rechristen it “El Diablo Tejano” a.k.a “Bass Reeves” I’ve sorted out the bits and pieces that I’d like to attach and possibly substitute. I wanted to change the stem to resemble the one on my Hercules, but I should have factored in circumference. Oh well, not that much of an issue. As long as I can change the handlebars which I’ve done (they kind of remind me of cattle horns which is actually okay by me). I’m also going to do something about the stopping power since this fork allows me to add a brake. Of course nothing ever really seems to bolt on without a bit of finagling so I’m trying to work on some more splash protection. Anyway, I’ll try to keep y’all updated. This should be fun…

Hey Lowe Beau, click on the photo where it says "Insert" after you upload here, and then click "Full Image" and you will get an image we can all see in full size. Looks like a great start for a skinny build!

Thanks, I’ll try that.

Super cool project!
Grazi. I’ve actually came up with some ideas with some manufacturer (and to a certain extent period) appropriate items that I had laying around. Eventually I’ll post some “progression” photos…
