You guys interested in ICE HOCKEY?

I happen to live in the city here in Finland where most of the games are played and it started fantastic! We won against Norway 5-0.
I know, I know, Norway is not the biggest ice hockey country in the world but they do have a lot of good players.
Also, so happens that we are in the same block with U.S. so we´ll see soon.

My neighbor played for the Philadelphia Flyers until he wrenched his knee and wound up with Permanent injuries.
He’s probably in there watching hockey on TV instead of bicycling with me today.

Rumor has it that we have some hockeys here in Canada. Stiff competition from the NHL playoffs right now. Things are progressing as usual

Felix Potvin use to go to Pedros to watch punk rock shows.

I live in Florida
You know, the hot humid subtropical peninsula.
I am originally from Michigan (and Massachusetts, we moved a lot) and am a Red Wings Fan. I was at the Joe a lot during the late 90s. A friend had season tickets and I did favors to get them. My dad also worked for a company that had a bunch of tickets that they gave to salespeople and as rewards to employees. He isn’t a hockey fan, and they often had spares. All lucky for me.
now I live in the land of heat. I went to one game and it just wasn’t the same. And I had to pay a small fortune to sit a mile away from the ice.
noww I am here with two home-state teams in the playoffs, and I have a hard time rooting for either one.
hockey is cruel.

I went to a concert in the arena in Tampa. They had Canadian beer on tap and Tim Hortons at the concession stands because the snowbird Canucks outnumber local fans. Games sell out when the Canadian teams are in town. I assume that's why Vegas has a team too. And yet Winnipeg had to fight for years to get one, Minnesota and Quebec City can't have one, because of TV money. Gary freakin Bettman trying to turn our game into the NBA

Canada is on top of Group A, Finland on top of Group B, each undefeated after 3 games. This could turn into something interesting, @El C ! See you in the finals?

Sorry Matti,
I may be a Red Wings fan living in Florida, but I would like to see Edmonton take the cup.
Yeah it's been a minute. I grew up during the dynasty, Coffey, Kurri, Messier, McSorley, Fuhr, some guy named Wayne... Man that was a team
