ID HELP PLEASE...Todays Find...1890s Wood Wheels?

I found this today in my travels...the head-tube badge is missing (so are the tires)...wood wheels...any ID help or history would be appreciated...THANKS! Buck

Cool bike in good shape. You may need to post at thecabe.net to find more info. The seat looks to be a Brooks and probably not original to the bike.

There's a potential small fortune there. Those rims will clean up a lot with some careful cleaning. I'd hang that on my wall!

I couldn't help with an ID< but I'm pretty jealous. :wink: That's a real beauty... the best feature on those bikes IMO is the excessively long headtube.

the chain ring looks very similar to the one on this Demorest. the center is a little different tho. probly give or take a few years from yours. the frame geometry look similar in the photos too. this is the 3rd page in How To Get Started in the Vintage Bicycle Hobby by Richard Truett. i think i bought this on the cabe for like 5 bucks awhile ago. thats a killer bicycle hope this helps!
