Idea has been lingering for a while

Can someone please tell me if cut up, welded, and reinforced boardtracker frame made from old mountain bikes stable? Is it strong enough to push it past 40 mph?

Really there aren't many bikes that should go 40. The parts are not designed for that speed. MHO

Look at your parts...small junk china axles and bearings....terrible brakes... tires that are minimal.
You can do whatever you want , but carry a camera where you can be on youtube if you crash.
If you want to go fast ...buy or build a small scooter. Thats just me though. :wink:
