Ideal Rode Light - 1924 Other info?

I just received this from a purchase, but am stumped as to history. I thought i might find stuff via a patent number, but I only have a date (see pic). Any help?

Well, duh! I should have checked ebay. I guess I thought it was rather unique, but there seems to be a few out there. Still a neat piece and since the lens is missing i will be going with some type of custom high ember emitting diode. i did a small spot on it and it appears to want to shine up quite well. More to come on this one.
