RARE ANTIQUE BICYCLE SHELBY SPORT 1920's - $995 (Crockett, Texas)
KEWL, 1920's era men's Shelby Rex Sport Cycle . Made by the Shelby Cycle Company, Shelby , Ohio. All original "as found" except for two new single unit (tire & tube combo) tires that cost $135 each . Great Brass Head Badge. Kewl Handle Bars with original "cigar" grips . Pedals are made by Persons . The leather saddle is a Mesinger . Originally all red . Someone years ago painted the fenders silver . Paint thinner should renove that . It can be ridden (a real attention grabber) or restored for show and competition. This is a wonderful example of Americana Cycling History . Will be happy to meet metroplex buyer one-half way at no additional cost .
