First a bad rain and wind went through lastweek a tree fell took out all powerlines at my house. Then the power surge burn up my fridge. Xmas day waterheater went started acting up fixed that yesterday. Lastnight bathtub doesn't drain just fixed that. And with all that I'm on vacation. NOW maybe I can get to start packing and shipping these boxes.

I hear ya, been a bit tough round here. Besides working a ton because we are insurance funded (everyone wants equipment now while their deductibles are met, and locks in revenue for the year), the dryer went out sat and this time it was time to get a new one. Met my wife on the way home from working late at Sears appliance outlet and got one. Figured taxes are coming so we bought a top mattress as well as we really needed it. Headed home looking forward to a great nights rest. On I55 doing 60mph some ..... swerved around two cars ahead of my wife they all imedietly locked up their brakes I did as well as soon as I could and promptly slid into the back of her car. Messed up the work van a bit, and shoved the right rear quarter into the rear door. Works ok with me so far, we'll see what insurance says. I also bought a truck from a guy and Im having title problems, he signed it wrong, and wont answer or call me back. And I NEED to drive it because my Caprice has a blown head gasket. I sure hope our luck turns around. Bah.

Ouch. I thought I had it bad because my wife's business computer died. She is having hot
flashes and freezing me to death. Gee and I thought the physical cliff was going to be bad.
Made it through the mayan world ending and figured we all had smooth sailing.
I feel for yall, and Chuck it gets better.

The best of today was when I was under the house. I yelled to my kid's inside that I was stuck under the house. My 9 year old granddaughter comes the back of the house where I crawled through and said Grampa you need help. Lol made my day. It will get better tomorrows a new day.

Paul I hear you on the hot flashes my wife is the same.

Good luck man, I had a VW that I had to end up parting out because of title troubles. I didn't have any real money in it but it was still a pain in the neck.

Yeah, Ive thought of all ways I can go with it. I will part it if thats the dead end I hit. But I realy need it to drive it. Its a pretty solid '83 3/4 ton truck with 45,000 miles on it.

Well maybe my lucks finaly changing. I got laid off last Thursday so I went into frenzy mode getting my résumé together and making contact with manufactures reps to put feelers out for open positions. Set up a interview with a company that ironically I had made contact with the manager of last Monday because I hAd already slowly started looking before I got laid off. Well Monday I accepted a position in a lower roll making the same money as my last job but with quarterly bonuses and commission as well added on top of that! Along with opportunity to build my own customer base and then move up as a sales rep or ATP as we call them. I already have my ATP credentials just not the customer base so they will help me get there. Loving life right now and amazed that with all the hardship you hear that I was able to hit the ground running and not miss a step. Hope things have gotten better for you as we'll.

Good on ya,Kevin. I changed jobs, too. Took a 84 cent pay cut hourly, but got a company van and gascard. That adds way over the 84 cents. Im smiling again.....
